Job Title: Install Sales/Logistics Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20 to $30 per hour, commensurate with experience + benefits, paid time off, professional development opportunities.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Install Sales/Logistics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our countertop fabrication company, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation process and managing logistics to ensure efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the installation team to ensure timely and quality installations of countertops for our clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the installation process.
- Oversee the logistics of materials, scheduling, and transportation to ensure timely delivery and installation.
- Train and mentor installation team members to ensure high performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to optimize processes and meet customer demands.
- Oversee end-to-end installation processes for large box stores, contractors, and retail customers, including order management, production oversight, and final delivery and installation.
- Supervise and manage the installation team to ensure efficient, effective, and safe operations.
- Coordinate with the customer service team to guarantee timely and budget-compliant product deliveries.
- Collaborate with external suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability and punctual delivery of required materials and equipment.
- Maintain and update production and installation schedules to meet all deadlines.
- Drive sales through strategic upselling and cross-selling efforts.
- Research and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience.
- Delegate work to associates and develop operational standards and procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation.
- Establish and uphold customer service procedures and policies.
- Address and resolve team and customer conflicts, anticipating and resolving service issues.
- Uphold a professional workspace and workflow, evaluating team performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the countertop fabrication or related industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and logistical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in installation and logistics.
- Experience with large box store systems, pricing, revisions, processes, and procedures is advantageous.
